Please say which right you want to use and which email address or form submission your request relates to.

How requests are handled

1. We acknowledge your request and give it a reference.
2. Where possible, we ask you to reply from the email address linked to the record, so we know the request comes from the person it concerns.
3. If that is not enough, we ask only for the minimum extra information needed to confirm who you are.
4. We do not ask for Aadhaar, passport or other full government identity documents by ordinary email.
5. We record our verification decision.
6. We tell you the outcome and, if you are not satisfied, how to complain.

We cannot promise that every request will be fulfilled in full: some records may have to be kept for legal or contractual reasons, and we will tell you when that applies.
