Pulp India
A confident, near-black portfolio website for Pulp, an independent Bandra brand strategy and design agency, built around a striking mixed-media project grid and personal partner bios.
Pulp is an independent brand strategy, design and communications agency based in Bandra, Mumbai, and its website at pulpindia.com is a confident, near-black portfolio site that lets a striking body of creative work carry the whole page. The homepage opens on an animated "Dhanyavaad" (Thank You) headline in gold Devanagari script over a dark background, a memorable entry point rather than a conventional hero banner.
What follows is a long, mixed-media project grid, fashion campaign photography, a bold red-and-yellow "Shirt Happy Now" graphic, packaging shots, an animal-welfare campaign, moody portraits and repeating brand type treatments, alternating full-width and paired image blocks at irregular sizes. This unpredictable rhythm keeps the scroll visually interesting and signals genuine art direction rather than a templated layout.
Typography is minimal and confident, small caps labels beneath each project image, letting the visuals do almost all of the talking. The About page swaps to a personal register: real candid photography of both partners, Gautam and Amrita, beside substantial first-person biography paragraphs on their backgrounds in branding, fashion and strategy, giving the agency a real human face rather than an anonymous identity.
A plain, undecorated "Our Services" list, brand strategy, visual identity, digital design, packaging and social media marketing, sits at the bottom of the About page rather than being dressed up with icons, consistent with the site's overall restraint. The Say Hi contact section is simple: address, phone and email in plain white text on black, with social icons beneath.
On mobile, the project grid narrows to a single column and the About page's partner photographs and biography text restack cleanly, though the long project feed requires considerable scrolling to reach the contact details on a phone. This is one of the more visually distinctive, portfolio-confident sites here, fitting for an agency selling design judgement first.
