More than 5 billion people use the internet every day, with many of them browsing and buying on their mobile devices. There has been a full-fledged all-out confrontation between the two in the battle of mobile vs desktop. Which squad will come out on top in the competition?
In the United States and the United Kingdom, mobile traffic accounts for more than 49 percent of total traffic, while desktop traffic accounts for 48 percent. Mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, have been shown to account for 63 percent of all web traffic on the internet.
On the contrary, 56 percent of Canadians use desktop computers, compared to 39 percent in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Mobile devices account for more than 74% of India’s internet traffic, while desktop computers account for barely 26%.
